Lobster wontons were pretty solid. It was nice and flavorful and it had a nice crispy exterior. It wasn't deep fried so it didn't overpower the taste of the filling. I got the lobster roll and was also very nice. Lobster was super fresh and the sauces accompanied it quite well. It wasn't super heavy and you can really taste the lobster. The fries were meh - weren't the best fries I ever had but it's ok. At least they were crispy and not soggy LOL. My bf got the ny strip and he said it was super tender / melt in your mouth and the cook was spot on. The only thing was it was severely underseasoned. He had to season every piece LMAO. Also, the sauce they provided was on the sweet side which he didnt really like. but other than that, really really solid place.

The sushi/seafood is the most fresh in Stamford. I live for the tuna tartare and Stamford Landing roll. This is also my favorite bar to sit at if you're looking for casual dining at an elegant restaurant. Truly the best!

I thought I had left a review after my October visit but I guess I forgot! But what I can't forget is how wonderful our dinner experience at Prime Stamford was. My husband mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the team really went all out with a personalized note on our table as well as gratis desserts and aperitif! We went for the beef Wellington specifically and it didn't disappoint. Excellent food and service all around. The bar area was lively on the Saturday night that we dined. Highly recommend.

Always a great meal. Delmonico Steak was delicious, cooked to medium rare perfection. Creamed spinach was on point. Active room with the only flaw being the read firewood next to a fake no flame fire. Yuck! Appetizers: perfect blue point oysters fantastic with mild vinegar. No fishy taste at all. Crab and salmon roll was very nice if a little heavy handed. Raw Tuna app was very nice, simple presentation. Prime maintains excellent consistency in all counts. It's pricy but they deliver on quality.

We ordered a series of things on the menu. Everything was beyond exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection , tasty, and presentation was extraordinary. The overlook of the water and boats docked is beautiful. The ambiance is great for a Sunday brunch, late date with your partner, or even to bring your kids. We came here in a pinch just being in the area , very casual and with children and they still welcomed us . Live band . The service was phenomenal. We had Thomas as our waiter who's recommendations were spot on. Anything he said I ordered and was not disappointed. The manager came over to greet us and got the time to get to know us because it's as our first time. My husband and I are big foodies and this was by far the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant. This has easily become my new favorite place. Highly recommend!!!

We came here Thursday night before the Memorial Day weekend and it was so packed!! This place is fun, loud, lively, with a great view of the harbor. The best seats are definitely by the window! We had delicious food and were so full that we could not squeeze in dessert. Too bad!! The wine list has a lot of choices and the cocktails are interesting and strong. We started with a Caesar salad (to decrease the guilt of what is coming) and the caramelized figs...so yummy!! Then we had the crab cake which is one of the best I have ever had! It barely had any breading or coating and was full of big chunks of crab. DE-lish!! Then we had the dry aged NY strip cooked medium with Mac n cheese (meh), brussel sprouts (loved), and asparagus (meh-the ends were hard and should have been removed before cooking). As I was looking around at the other diners, the seafood tower looked appealing. We weren't in the mood for that and wanted to taste a bunch of items instead. It's a pricey place but cool. You could tell people were hanging after work. The bar also plays sports. I recommend it!! Very fun.

Took my mom here for her birthday dinner, & I have to say I was impressed by this place. The salad was fresh, beef wellington was cooked perfectly, the skillet potatoes were ok, but I probably wouldn't bother again. The smores dessert was amazing, & was presented beautifully. The service was pretty good, but a little on the slower side. this place is fancy, & therefore quite pricey, so I would probably only go here for a special occasion.
